Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

To all my friends, family and random people that stumble (and often return) to my website, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

I hope that you all have a festive day and a safe and happy holidays. I have friends coming to stay with me from Boxing Day until the 29th, so I'll be playing host during this time ensuring my friends have a wonderful experience in Sydney (and staying at my place). I'll tell you all about the experience in a later post, but now onto a more pressing matter - the selection of good gifts.

According to Maria, the best present she ever received was a Photo Book that I did from her first ever bush walk in the Blue Mountains. She said "It is the best present she had ever received". She was stunned, speechless and totally overwhelmed by what I did for her - and that's the key. I did it for her. My own creation and limited artistic flair went into creating a Photo Book to preserve the memories from a wonderful experience several months earlier. A personalized gift specially tailored for the recipient, and that's special.

There are many places that can do this, and I chose Digital Print Australia for Maria's photo book. Photo Books, normal books, calendars, stationery and canvas prints are a few of the other items that you can work with.

So for your next gift, why not consider creating something like I did. Doing something personal.

In a future blog post I will talk about some other great ideas for creating gifts
